About UsTiny Tot Sports Inc., the pioneer of the baby and toddler non-instructional sports themed video market, is an award-winning global media, communications, video-production, and publishing company dedicated to introducing toddlers to the benefits of sports. The company develops and produces video programming, books and merchandise that introduce infants through six-year-olds to teamwork, sharing, the development of gross-motor and inter-social skills and the advantages of exercise. John Daddona and his sons Dino and Jack created Tiny Tot Sports Inc. in December 2002 and pioneered the baby and toddler sports themed video market. While searching for gifts for their children/grandchildren, they noticed the video market serving infants through six-year-olds was full of selections on art, music, monster trucks and construction crews. But they couldn't find a single video introducing toddlers to sports. They immediately created Tiny Tot Sports Inc. and hired award winning television producer Alan LaGarde (Trading Spaces, Forensic Files) to develop the company's first product, "Baby Baseball." "Baby Baseball," a 30-minute video introducing toddlers to the game of baseball, using nine characters as well as images of colorful equipment and 30 young children, was created, written, produced, edited and brought to the marketplace in less than six months. Following the success of "Baby Baseball," Tiny Tot Sports released "Baby Soccer" at The American International Toy Fair in New York City in February of 2004, "Baby Basketball" in May of 2004, and "Baby Golf" and "Baby Football" in September of 2004. The company is scheduled to release "Baby Tennis", "Baby Racing and "Baby Cheerleading" in 2006. In July of 2004, the company partnered with Simply Back to Basics to form Tiny Tot Sports Publications and quickly began developing children's books. The publishing division released the first series of sports-themed children's books in the Fall of 2004. Written from a child's point of view in a fun rhyming pattern, Tiny Tot Baseball, Tiny Tot Soccer, Tiny Tot Basketball, Tiny Tot Football, and Tiny Tot Golf illustrate the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship while teaching the basic rules, terms and concepts of each sport. In addition, Tiny Tot Sports Inc. is securing retail partnerships for the series of videos and books. Tiny Tot Sports' videos were recently honored by Creative Child Magazine as "2005 Toy of the Year" in the DVD category, named Best Vacation Toy by Dr. Toy, named 2005 Best Product by the iParenting Media Awards, and given The Dove Foundation Seal of Approval. The videos have received positive reviews nationwide from more than 400 media outlets, including ESPN, The Fox News Channel, the Boston Herald, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the San Diego Press Enterprise, and Better Health and Living magazine. |
